Situated just a street back from Rockingham Foreshore, you will find quality beer, tasty bar meals and great music with an awesome atmosphere. Perfect meet up with friends and generally there is a nice crowd about during the day and early evening. It has on street parking and wheelchair accessible (100% indoor and out) as well as outdoor pavement seating area. I think families are allowed to sit and eat up to 8pm. The pub has great quality singers and bands booked on Saturday nights from my experience (small dance floor) and I enjoy Wednesday Karaoke which brings in an eclectic crowd, young and old. Chase the Ace is a Thursday which I went to just last week and the owner was offering crazy money and prizes. Didn't win, so may just go back next week too! Food is tasty. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Not a huge place but not small either. I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet drink and lunch during the day, evening drinks with friends and a fun night out with more friends later on.

Brad is the ultimate service man ☺️ he is friendly charismatic and just a genuinely great guy! Amber is also pretty bloody cool. These guys deserve all the tips in the world especially working over the festive season away from family and friends ❤️💚

Vat 116 has a relaxed beachside vibe, ideal for everything from after-work drinks to weekend diners. I stopped in for a midweek pint and pub grub, and it hit all the right notes. The atmosphere is laid-back but with enough energy to feel social. I had the rump steak special with chips and salad – simple, hearty, and well worth the price (£15 special nights are a draw). Service was efficient even as the place filled up, and the staff were friendly and approachable. With ratings around 4.0 across multiple review platforms, Vat 116 clearly maintains consistent standards and local appeal.

*EDIT* Been back, was not nearly as good but still kind of decent. BUT - Last night we ordered steaks for delivery, and VAT cancelled it some time after the order was placed. I thought that was pretty ordinary, so we won't trust them for that again. Wanted quick bar meal/finger food and ended up here. Bruschetta bit overpriced but really nice to eat. The burgers, steak sanga and a fair dinkum. Omg they were so filling and unbelievably good. We were Swinging piggers, never again after this food, friendly staff and we'll go out of our way to come back here because that food is even better than it looks.

Great hang out spot with choices of hightop tables for sports or cosy couch. The wings were really great! Enjoyed the carbonara and silkwood chardonnay as well.

Very friendly staff nice atmosphere and they got daily food specials came here for my mum's birthday only $10 for chicken wings on a Friday the fireball wings are the best but spent a bit too much on alcohol that's expensive everywhere in Australia
